This site was incredible. They did a great job renovating it. Alot of thought went into the execution of it, and I must say, it's a very fitting tribute to the men and women who served in this conflict. There are two huge arches, one on each side. One for the Pacific campaign, and one for the Atlantic. In between, there are smaller columns that represent each state and US province that took part in the war. Very touching.
So, there it is. I can't tell you how much you have to come to DC and see these memorials.
